Hinrich Julius
Hinrich Julius (* 1962 in Langenhagen ) is a German lawyer and university professor .
Life
After receiving his doctorate in 1994 from the University of Hamburg as Dr. iur. From 1997 to 2000 he taught as a professor at the University of Wismar for commercial and banking law and from 2000 to 2004 as a professor for commercial private law at the HAW Hamburg . From 2004 to 2009 he was head of the legal cooperation office of the German Society for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) in Beijing .
Since March 2010 he has been professor for legal dialogue with emerging countries with a focus on civil and commercial law in Hamburg .
His research areas are transformation and law.
