Hippolytus (King of Sicyon)
Hippolytos ( Greek Ἱππόλυτος ) is the son of Rhopalos in Greek mythology . After the death of Zeuxippus , he became king of Sicyon . Agamemnon , king of Mycenae , marched with an army against Sicyon. Hippolytus surrendered and from then on served Agamemnon. He was succeeded by his son Lakestades .
Eusebius of Caesarea does not include Hippolytus in his list of kings of Sikyon and has the carnelian priests follow Zeuxippus .
