Hiromu Shinozuka

Hiromu Shinozuka ( Japanese 篠 塚 ひ ろ む , Shinozuka Hiromu ; born March 27, 1979 in Koga , Fukuoka Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese manga artist .

It was first published in 1999 with the short story Takkyū Shōjo ( 卓 球 少女 ) in the Ciao Deluxe , a special magazine for the Ciao , one of the manga magazines with the highest circulation . This was followed by other shorter works for Ciao and Ciao Deluxe , including her first series Chinji in 2001 ! ( ち ぇ ん じ! ).

From 2001 to 2006 she drew her most successful work to date for Ciao, Mirmo! ( ミ ル モ で ポ ン! Mirumo de Pon! ) About a girl and her everyday life with a love elf. The manga, which was also implemented as a 172-part anime television series and translated into several languages, comprises around 2000 pages. The twelve edited volumes published by Shogakukan- Verlag sold over two million copies in Japan. For Mirmo! the illustrator won the Kōdansha Manga Prize in 2003 and the Shōgakukan Manga Prize in 2004 .

2006 to 2008 Ciao Shinozuka's comic series Koisuru Pudding! ( 恋 す る プ リ ン ! , Koisuru Purin! ). Her series Chibi Devil ( ち び ☆ デ ビ! ), which has been appearing since 2008, is also published in German and has been adapted as an anime.
