action

Kaede Minami is a 14 year old girl who is in the 1st grade of middle school. She has been in love with handsome boy Setsu Yuki for 11 months. At first she is very shy and doesn't even dare to say "good morning" to him. Her best friend Etsumi encourages her again and again, but it doesn't really work. Kaede isn't the only one who has a crush on Yuki-kun. There is also the pushy Azumi Hidaka, who constantly picks up on Yuki and has absolutely no problem speaking to him. On the contrary. But Yuki is visibly annoyed by his "follower" and hardly pays her any attention.

It's been like this for a long time. One day, Kaede's mother comes back from a trip and brings her daughter a strange cup with a love spell on it. Kaede discovers the instructions on the bottom of the cup: "Think very firmly of your wish while you pour hot cocoa into the cup, and Mirmo the love elf will fulfill your wish for love." Kaede still believes that the love elf is not meant seriously, but as soon as she has filled the cup with cocoa, a cute little guy crawls out. That's just the beginning. The cheeky Mirmo at first strictly refuses to grant Kaede her wish and does nothing other than be served, eat and sleep. Elves are only visible to whoever called them. Later, Rirumu, Mirmo's fiancée, joins them. The fathers of the two decided about the engagement. Mirmo is strictly against it, but Rirumu is overjoyed with it. She nests at Yuki-kun, so that the elves are then also visible to him. Even the bad Yashichi is not long in coming and is called by Hidaka of all people ... So the trouble is perfect, because Yashichi and Hidaka are planning all kinds of intrigues against Kaede so that she can finally let go of Yuki and Hidaka has free rein.

Mirmo's brother Murmo also comes to visit soon, and he likes it so much in the human world that he is looking for a person: Matsutake-kun, the rich boy who is the crush of many girls. He falls in love with Kaede, who gives him Murmo's cup so that Murmo can nestle with him. Of course, he is happy about Kaede's gift and, as described in the instructions, pours tomato juice into the cup, even though he hates it. Little Murmo is already crawling out of the cup and the two become friends ... and despite all this, will you end up getting together with her crush, Yuki, amid all the chaos of clever elves, stupid elves, annoying elves and helping elves Kaede?
