Hiroyoshi Kuwabara ( Japanese 桑 原 裕 義 , Kuwabara Hiroyoshi ; born October 2, 1971 in Hiroshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kuwabara learned to play soccer on the school team at Hiroshima Technical High School and the university team at Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences . He signed his first contract with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 1994 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1994 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club. In 1995, 1996 and 1999 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . At the end of the 2002 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club, he completed 229 games. In 2004 he moved to the first division club Albirex Niigata . For the club, he completed 46 top division games. He then played with Giravanz Kitakyushu and Fagiano Okayama . At the end of 2011 he ended his career as a football player.
