Hiroyuki Sawada ( Japanese 澤 田 博 行 , Sawada Hiroyuki ; born January 29, 1974 in Gunma Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Sawada learned to play soccer on the school team at Maebashi Commercial High School . He signed his first contract with Honda FC in 1992 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 15 games. In 1993 he moved to the first division Urawa Red Diamonds . For the club he completed 11 first division games. In 1995 he moved to the second division club Kyoto Purple Sanga . In 1995 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . He then played for Tonan SC Gunma (1998-2004). At the end of 2004 he ended his career as a soccer player.
