Hiroyuki Shirai ( Japanese 白 井 博 幸 , Shirai Hiroyuki ; born June 17, 1974 in Fuji , Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

career

Shirai attended the 1st high school operated by Tōkai University , which has already produced several professional footballers. After graduating from school, he was signed by first division club Shimizu S-Pulse in 1993 , moved to Verdy Kawasaki in 1997 , Cerezo Osaka in 1998 , Shonan Bellmare in 2000 , Vegalta Sendai in 2006 and ended his career with third division FC Ryūkyū .

With the Japanese national team , he qualified for the 1996 Summer Olympics .
