Hiroyuki Tomita
Hiroyuki Tomita ( Japanese 冨 田 洋 之 , Tomita Hiroyuki ; born November 21, 1980 in Osaka ) is a Japanese gymnast .
Tomita and his team won the gold medal and silver on bars at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens .
His greatest success was winning the all- around event at the 2005 World Cup . In addition, a year later at the World Championships in Aarhus he secured the silver medals in the all- around as well as the parallel bars and the bronze medal with his team.
At the 2007 World Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart , he won the silver medal with his team and was also awarded the title of “most elegant gymnast”. He ended his career in the fall of 2008.
