Hisae Nakajima

Hisae Nakajima ( Japanese 中 島 久 恵 , Nakajima Hisae ; * around 1975) is a Japanese jazz pianist .

Hisae Nakajima decided after high school to work as a jazz pianist and studied jazz piano with Takehiro Honda , Toshiyuki Daitoku and Fumio Itabashi , as well as rhythm teaching with Yūji Imamura . In the following years she played in the Tokyo jazz scene, where she appeared in jazz clubs with her own trios. In addition to jazz standards, she plays her own compositions; In 2000 she released her debut album Junior Line , followed by Terminal (2010). In the 2010s she played in a trio with Norikatsu Koreyasu or Shin'ichi Katō (bass) and Takuji Kusumoto or Kentaro Imamura (drums).
