The village Hispar located in the Karakoram mountain range in the autonomous region of Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan . The place Karimabad is about an hour away.

Hispar is not far from the glacier mouth of the Hispar glacier named after him and uses its water as a source of drinking water. The Yengutz Har glacier , which flows into the valley at Hispar, is not far above the village. The fields are laid out in terraces around the village and supported with stone walls. The agricultural fields can be irrigated with the abundant water of the Hispar .

The village consists of a few houses. There is a path there that is accessible by all-wheel drive vehicles. In 2006 the bridge below the village and the road through the Hisparl was washed away. Afterwards, the place was not accessible by vehicles for months.

Hispar is often visited by trekking tourists who go to Askole on the Hispar glacier over the Hispar pass .
