Askole or Askoly is a small village in Braldu -Tal in Karakorum in Baltistan in Pakistan Region Gilgit-Baltistan . In the meantime, a jeep runway extends from Skardu to the Braldu Valley. It ends in Askole. For mountaineers, the remote place is the starting point for climbing the high mountains in the eastern Karakoram, for example K2 , Ogre or the mountains of the Gasherbrum group .
