Historical atlas of Bavarian Swabia

The Historical Atlas of Bavarian Swabia (HABS) is a historical atlas for the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia .

First edition

The first, now out of print edition of the HABS appeared in 1955 and comprised 74 cards with 50 pages of epithets. It was edited by Wolfgang Zorn and was published by the Schwäbische Forschungsgemeinschaft.

Second edition

The second, newly edited and supplemented edition appears on behalf of the Swabian Research Association and is edited by Hans Frei, Pankraz Fried and Franz Schaffer . The new edition is divided into 10 individual deliveries, each with nine to ten map sheets and epithets. So far five deliveries have been published.
