The Historical Museum of the Hochstift Paderborn is a local museum in the East Westphalian city ​​of Büren in North Rhine-Westphalia . Together with the Wewelsburg Memorial and Memorial 1933-1945, it forms one of the two permanent exhibitions of the Wewelsburg District Museum in the Paderborn district .

It is located in the south and east wings as well as in the south-east tower of the Wewelsburg . The museum presents the history of the duchy of Paderborn from the beginning of settlement during the Stone Age up to 1802, it has 29 rooms spread over three floors, four floors in the tower, most of which are accessible by an elevator.

The museum is visited by around 90,000 people annually.
