Hitoshi Morishita ( Japanese 森 下 仁志 , Morishita Hitoshi ; born September 21, 1972 in Wakayama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Morishita learned to play football on the school team at Teikyo High School and the university team at Juntendo University . He signed his first contract with Gamba Osaka in 1995 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 151 first division games. In 2001 he moved to the league competitor Consadole Sapporo . At the end of the 2002 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 79 games. In 2004 he moved to the first division club Júbilo Iwata . At the end of 2005 he ended his career as a soccer player.
