High bunker in Pasing

The bunker in the Pasing district of the Bavarian capital Munich was built in 1941/42. The high bunker at Bäckerstraße 10 is a protected architectural monument .

The six-storey solid concrete building with a square floor plan was built as an air defense tower according to plans by Karl Meitinger . The building has a tent roof . The corner rustication , the console eaves cornice and the portal edging serve as decoration . The two-flight staircase is bordered by balusters . There is a clock on the south side.

The building is privately owned.
