The Hochkogel is 1591 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the dead mountains near Ebensee am Traunsee . The mountain slopes down to the north and east with steep walls. To the south a ridge leads over to the Rauhenkögel. The summit is often visited due to its beautiful view and easy access.
