Hochkreuz Bockersend
The Hochkreuz Bockersend is located in the Bettrath-Hoven district in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
The cross was built in 1900. It was entered under No. B 154 on November 12, 1996 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

The object is in the center of the cemetery in Bockersend, which was built around 1900. The high cross is a multi-segmented cross structure using various grave elements . Material: white sandstone ; Total height: 6.00 m.
On a three-tier artificial stone pedestal rises a grave altar with a Gothic gable top . To top it off, a fial-like structure from which the cross with the corpus towers high. On pillar-supported pedestals Maria (left) and Johannes (right) flanking as assistance figures. On the inscription panels:
Upper plinth panel: "Christ vincit, Christ regnat, Christ imperat"
Lower panel: "Pie Jesu Domine dona eis requiem"
below: "Erected for the consolation of poor souls in the jubilee year 1900 by the parish of Bettrath".
