The University Hefei (HH), also called in English Hefei University known (HU) is a public university in Hefei in the province of Anhui , China .
It was founded in 1980. The main teaching focus is on engineering and economics . In addition, humanities subjects, natural sciences and education are taught.
There has been a cooperation with universities in Lower Saxony since 1984 , which among other things has led to visiting professors at the HH. Since 2011, HH has also been teaching in German.
Kurt Bodewig is one of the many honorary professors at HH .
