The house Hochstadenring Straße 108 is in the district Wickrathberg in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The building was built in 1900. It was entered under No. H 067 on November 28, 1990 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

architecture

The property is located on Hochstadenstrasse opposite the former Lohmühle of the Wickrath leather factory . The building was constructed in two phases in 1900 and 1906. The component on the left, comprising five axes , belongs to the first construction phase . Eaves , two-storey structure under a gable roof . On the ground floor in the left axis there is a gate instead of the bowling alley that was previously installed there; framed by pilasters , triglyph frieze and narrow roof.

The middle three axes with segmented arched windows and flat plaster framing, rising from the transom brackets . House entrance framed by pilasters on the right axis, with triglyph frieze and narrow roofing, this entrance follows that of the left axis (gate passage). Continuous sill cornice on the first floor , high rectangular windows with profiled plaster framing.

Two coats of arms flank the central axis. The outer axis is accentuated with a double, plastered curtain arch. The right and left axis of the house, which each accommodate a house entrance (gate passage and front door), protrudes flat as a risalit. Upstairs it is by two plaster square (imittierendes long-short drive) to the Risalitecken emphasizes the side. As an extension of the five-axis building, a newly built or rebuilt (?), Three-axis, two-storey, eaves structure under a gable roof with a separate house access in the right axis and a staircase behind was erected in 1906 instead of a previous building.
