The Hockey Cirque is an 800 m wide, glacial mountain basin in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It is in the Miller Range on the east face of the Ascent Glacier .
A geological team from Ohio State University , who worked in the area from 1967 to 1968, named the mountain basin because they had played an ice hockey game here.
