Hofjagdhütte

The Hofjagdhütte is a hut in the district of Forst Sankt Bartholomä in the municipality of Schönau am Königssee . This was built in 1848 under King Maximilian II as a royal hunting lodge.

The building and two associated Klaubstein walls are under monument protection and are entered in the Bavarian monument list under the number D-1-72-132-110 .

Building description

The hunting lodge is a ground-floor log building that was expanded after the middle of the 19th century and expanded with a transverse building with an arbor . The Klaubstein walls also served as paddocks for the Regenalm .

location

The Hofjagdhütte is located on the Regenalm above the Obersee between Gotzenberg and Kleiner Regenbergl at an altitude of 1540  m above sea level. NHN .
