The Regenalm is an alpine pasture in the district of Forst Sankt Bartholomä in the municipality of Schönau am Königssee .

The Regenalm Kaser is a listed building and is registered in the Bavarian Monument List under the number D-1-72-132-107 .

Building description

The Regenalm Kaser is a ground-floor, combed block building with a shingle roof . The building was erected in 1740 and rebuilt in 1840.

Todays use

The Regenalm is still used for agriculture and is served in the summer months. In addition to calves and suckler cows, the herd includes two horses and three oxen.

location

The Regenalm is located north above the Obersee between Gotzenberg and Kleines Regenbergl at an altitude of 1540  m above sea level. NN .

The former hunting lodge of King Maximilian II is also located on the Regenalm .
