The Hofmark Inzell was a Hofmark based in Inzell , today a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein .

history

Count Konrad von Peilstein handed over his possessions in Inzell to the monastery of St. Zeno near Reichenhall in 1177 . This resulted in the Inzell Klosterhofmark. The provost of the monastery was court lord. Probably in the 14th century the Hofmark gained lower jurisdiction .

The seat of Hofmark, Inzell Castle , was demolished in 1811 after the monastery was secularized in 1802/03.
