The house was built around 1905 based on plans by Friedrich Wellermann and Paul Frölich . It has been a part of the Knoops Park monument group since 2010 and has been a listed building in Bremen .

history

The Hofmeierhaus and the Lesmona family belonged to the Lesmona estate, whose area is located in the southwest corner of today's Knoops Park. The two-storey, plastered house with a vehicle hall and adjacent living rooms as well as with a crooked hip roof and ornamental framework on the slightly cantilevered upper floor was built in a U-shape around 1905 in the era of historicism, presumably as a porter's house and high coach house for the Lesmona estate. The roof, which overhangs the balcony on the upper floor, is striking and the octagonal tent roof over the single-storey fire station.

Part of the house was used by the volunteer fire brigade as the St. Magnus fire station until 2011 . Today (2018) there are large apartments in the building after a renovation and extension.
