The mountain Hohe Burg , also called Rugberg , is the highest point of the mountain range called Langer Berg and at 147.4 m above sea level. NHN one of the highest elevations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is located west of Schlemmin ( Bernitt municipality ) in the Hohe Burg and Schwarzer See nature reserve . It is the highest elevation of an Ice Age terminal moraine north-west of Bützow . The nearby Black Lake is the highest lake in Mecklenburg.
The elevation is named after a presumably early Slavic hill fort that was located there.
The 94 m high Schlemmin TV tower is located on a southern branch of the mountain .
