from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

High Turk is a simple dice and arithmetic game with three dice and a dice cup for any number of players. As a variant, Low Turk is played.

In game collections , "High Turk" and "Low Turk" are regularly included in the relevant rulebooks.

Style of play

Tall Turk is played with three dice. When the dice roll 6; 3; 1 is shown, the High Turk has 6 times 3 = 18 through 1 = 18 and for the Low Turk 1 times 3 = 3 through 6 = 0.5 or rounded 1.

Any number of players can play in the game of High Turk. The dice are rolled in turn, each player has only one roll with three dice. For Evaluation of the throw the two dice highest values are each multiplied and then through the spot number of the third cube divided , the result is recorded. The winner is the player with the highest number. Depending on the style of play, the result can be counted as unrounded or rounded. The highest roll of the High Turk is the roll 1; 6; 6, you score 6 times 6 = 36 by 1 = 36; the lowest roll is accordingly 1; 1; 1, you score 1 times 1 = 1 by 1 = 1.

In the game of Low Turk, the two lowest dice are multiplied and then divided by the highest dice. The winner is the player with the lowest result. Here, too, it is possible to score unrounded or rounded. The highest roll of the Low Turk is the roll 1; 1; 6, you score 1 times 1 = 1 by 6 = 1/6; the lowest roll is 6; 6; 6, you score 6 times 6 = 36 by 6 = 6.

Both games are usually played over a set number of rounds, with the individual results added up and scored at the end.
