Holger Back

Holger Back (born March 2, 1957 in Taunusstein ) is a German glider pilot and competitive athlete.

Life

Holger Back comes from a family who are enthusiastic about gliding. His brother Jochen had already achieved considerable success at national level before he did. In 1980 Back won the German junior championship in distance gliding and in the following years was able to achieve remarkable international placements in all three classes - the 15-meter class , the standard and the open class . Back has his aviation roots in the Aero-Club Nastätten.

Back is a partner in the Munich advertising agency Back & Staab. The agency's customers include numerous companies and organizations from the aviation industry, such as the DAeC , the Luftsport-Verband Bayern, Diamond Flugservice or the aircraft manufacturers Stemme and DG Flugzeugbau .

  • 2011: German champion in Lüsse, 18-meter class
  • Team leader of the German national glider teams at several international competitions
