Holger Bodendorf

Holger Bodendorf (born June 7, 1967 in Heiligenhafen ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his training, Bodendorf moved to Landhaus Stricker on Sylt in 1989 , shortly afterwards to Landhaus Scherrer in Hamburg and in 1990 to Hotel Atlantic Kempinski in Hamburg, followed in 1991 by Landhaus Dill in Hamburg. In 1992 he went briefly to Horst Petermann in Zurich to Petermann's art rooms . In 1992 he came back to Sylt, first to Tappe's Restaurant , and in 1996 to the Hotel Windrose .

Since 2001 he has been head chef at Landhaus Stricker on Sylt , where his Bodendorf’s restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star since 2002 . 2015 Bodensdorf was one of the main judges of the VOX telecast Game of bosses . He was also a duelist on season 2 of the VOX show Kitchen Impossible . There he competed as Tim Mälzer's opponent in cooking .

Private

Bodendorf is the father of a son and a daughter.
