Holger Potzern

Holger Potzern (* 20th century ; † 2007 ) was a German actor , theater director , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Potzern appeared as a stage actor at the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg and at the Low German Stage in Flensburg , where he himself staged performances as a director.

Potzern is known to a broad national audience above all for his voice. He spoke for various children's and youth radio plays from well-known labels such as EUROPA , Karussell and Ravensburger. In the carousel adaptation by Albert Uderzos and René Goscinny's Asterix , Potzern took over the part of the druid "Miraculix", in the Lucky Luke series of the same label he could be heard as "Jack Dalton" and in Hans Joachim Herwald's setting of Akif Pirinçci the cat crime Felidae he said the "Isaiah". He was particularly popular as the green roller "Rollo" in the stories with and about Bob, the builder . Potzern spoke the character in the radio play and the German dubbed version of the television series from the beginning of the German broadcast in 2001 until his death in 2007. Since then, Bertram Hiese can be heard as "Rollo". Potzern also dubbed actors like Ice-T in Ticker and Luke Wilson in Soul Survivors .
