Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (translated: Holidays: A soldier is never out of service ) is an Indian action thriller from AR Murugadoss from the year 2014. He is a remake of the Tamil film Thuppakki from 2012, which also AR Murugadoss directed. The film was released in India on June 6, 2014 and was a box office hit.

Virat, the captain of the DIA, a wing of the Indian Army , returns to his home in Mumbai for a vacation. Upon arrival, his parents force him to meet Saiba, whom he is supposed to marry. But Virat dismisses her with an apology that she is too old-fashioned and not his type. On the contrary, Saiba is a professional boxer and very modern. Virat notices her in a boxing match and immediately falls in love with her.
