The novel was first published as a self-published e-book by Amazon in November 2011 , where it developed into a bestseller and was published by mvg Verlag the following year . However, the delivery of the novel was stopped on November 29, 2012 due to plagiarism allegations.

29-year-old Julia Zoe Löhmer caught her fiancé Johann cheating. Completely shocked and desperate, Julia goes to a bar and has a drink. She makes the decision to go to her best friend Katja Völkers in Hamburg. Pretty drunk and completely exhausted, she gets on the train. In her sleeping compartment she meets the charming Benjamin Wagner, she tells him all kinds of things and throws up on his chucks. The next morning she wakes up sober and is ashamed of her behavior from last night. Julia flees the train without saying goodbye to Benni. At her friend Katja, she really howls, goes shopping with Johann's credit card and then decides to rearrange her life with the help of the universe. She is applying to be a journalist for Holiday Dreams magazine . After a few white lies , Julia gets the job. There she meets Benni - he is her photographer! At first Julia tries to avoid him, but Benni does not give up and spends a lot of time with Julia. Julia falls in love with him and they sleep together. When Benni then disappears, Julia is confused and angry. She sees him at work for days in the company of a pretty blonde. When Johann and her parents turn up in Hamburg, Julia is completely confused. She decides against Johann, who travels back to Freiburg alone. A few days later there is a company party to which Julia takes her friend Harald. Harald owns a barber shop and is gay, Katja and Julia often meet him there and drink a glass of elderberry kiss. At the company party, Julia's boss explains that her son Benni and her daughter, the pretty blonde, will take over the publishing house. Benni then makes a declaration of love to Julia.
