The wooden church of Poienile Izei ( Biserica de lemn din Poienile Izei ) is one of the wooden churches protected as UNESCO World Heritage in the Maramureș in the Romanian municipality of Poienile Izei . It is dedicated to Saint Parascheva ( Paraskevi ).

history

The church was built in 1604. It has been part of the world cultural heritage since 1999 and is protected as a monument in Romania under the number MM-II-mA-04605.
