Holzleuten is a district of the municipality of Rückholz in the Swabian district of Ostallgäu . The village is about two kilometers north of Rückholz and can be reached via the OAL 23 district road .

The Holzleuten settlement belonged to the first clearing period . The place was first mentioned in a document in 1386.
