Home Lake

The Home Lake ( English for home lake ) is a small lake on the Antarctic Ross Island . It is located on Cape Royds

Participants of the Nimrod expedition (1907-1909) under the direction of the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton named him. It is named after the fact that the lake is in the immediate vicinity of the expedition's base camp, which still exists today.
