history
On July 1, 1998, Honda Bank GmbH was established as a subsidiary of Honda Deutschland GmbH (40%) and Honda Motor Europe Ltd. (60%) and initially only took on the end customer financing of new passenger cars .
In January 2002, the offer for end customers was expanded to include the financing of new motorcycle vehicles. One year later, in April 2003, the bank took on the purchase of new vehicles for contract trade, which includes the financing of storage and exhibition vehicles.
In January 2006, Honda Bank GmbH offered the financing of used vehicles for end customers and dealers for the first time. The bank's portfolio was then expanded to include new vehicle leasing in January 2007.

Leasing (car)
Mileage leasing: Leasing of new or demonstration vehicles with contract periods between twelve and 60 months. When the contract is concluded, an annual mileage is agreed.
Residual value leasing: leasing of new or demonstration vehicles with contract periods between twelve and 60 months. The leasing contract is based on the estimated residual value of the leasing vehicle upon return.
Insurance
With its subsidiary Honda Versicherungsdienst GmbH, Honda Bank GmbH offers vehicle-related insurance solutions through retailers, e. B. Motor Insurance. A residual debt insurance and leasing installment insurance are offered in cooperation with PNB Paribas Cardif .
