The MB-8 is a street / light motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer Honda Motor Co. Ltd.

It was produced from 1981 to 1983.

Honda had upgraded the previously established Honda MB-50 to the 80-cm³ light motorcycle MB-8 in order to be able to quickly offer a model in this new vehicle category (registration start January 1, 1981). As Honda immediately had an inexpensive, technically advanced light motorcycle with a 1-cylinder two-stroke engine, which among other things could come up with separate lubrication and diaphragm inlet control, and the dealer / workshop network in Germany was already well developed, it immediately became one Sales success for Honda.

It had a single disc brake on the front wheel and a drum brake on the rear, as well as the composite wheels typical of Honda at the time (Comstar). In 1983 it was replaced by the newly developed MBX 80 .
