Hongtong
Hongtong ( Chinese 洪洞 县 , Pinyin Hóngtòng Xiàn ) is a Chinese district in the prefecture -level city of Linfen in Shanxi Province . It has an area of 1,494 km² and has 730,000 inhabitants.
The Guangsheng Temple (Guangsheng si 广胜寺) and the Jade Emperor Temple of Hongdong (Hongdong yuhuang miao 洪洞 玉皇庙) from the Mongol era have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1961 and 2001, respectively .
