Hongshan (Wuhan)
The Hongshan District ( Chinese 洪山 區 / 洪山 区 , Pinyin Hóngshān Qū ) is a district of the sub-provincial city of Wuhan , the capital of the Hubei Province in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 509 km² and has 720,188 inhabitants (end of 2004).

At the community level, the district is made up of eight street districts , two large communities and four communities .
