Hoods
The Hoods , also known as Sacto Hoods , are an American hardcore band that was founded in 1995 by Mike Hood in Sacramento ( USA ). Stylistically, the Hoods combine punk and metal elements.
Mike Hood released the band's first recordings on several smaller labels and on compilations on his own label West Coast Worldwide before the Hoods signed with Victory Records in 2001 . The second Victory album Prey for Death denounces alcoholism, drug abuse and corruption, the cover design was done by Sean Taggert , who also worked for Agnostic Front .
