I Scream Records is a Belgian music label that was founded in 1994 in Brussels by Laurens Kusters, drummer of the hardcore band Deviate . The label specializes in the release of albums in the punk, hardcore and metal sectors.
history
The label was founded in 1994 by Laurens Kusters in Brussels. Initially, the label had only a few $ 10,000 available. The label slowly grew to become one of the largest of its kind in Europe. Bands like Madball , Ramallah , Stigma , Discipline , Skarhead , The Last Resort , Wisdom in Chains , Earth Crisis , Hoods , North Side Kings , Agnostic Front , MOD , Blood for Blood , Jaya the Cat , Stigmata and Lionheart have already released their albums here .
The Eastpak Resistance Tour took place for the first time in 2001 . It was hosted by I Scream Records and Rob Van Ravens ( Eastpak ). In 2005 one of these tours was held for the fifth and last time. It was one of the biggest hardcore events in Europe and was a huge hit for the label. Appearances on this tour have also been released on DVD and CD. Bands like Sick of It All, 7 Seconds , Slapshot , Unearth , Walls of Jericho , The Bones , Heaven Shall Burn , Judasville , No Turning Back , Madball , Ignite , Death by Stereo , Sworn Enemy , Length of Time , Backfire! , Knuckledust , Convict , Biohazard , Agnostic Front, Hatebreed , Born from Pain and Do or Die teil.
In early 2006, I Scream Records opened a subsidiary in New York, United States.
