Vinnie Stigma was a veteran of the New York punk scene even before the Agnostic Front . He played in the punk band The Eliminators, but they were never noticed outside of New York. He then had a fanzine called Agnostic Front , which also served as the namesake for his band. Initially founded as a pure fun project, the group only got more professional in 1983, with the arrival of Roger Miret . On the EP United Blood and the debut album Victim in Pain , his guitar playing was still very poor, he was barely able to keep the pace. Under pressure from his band members, he finally gave in and hired a second guitarist. Years later, he was caught repeatedly playing " unplugged ".

After the end of Agnostic Front in 1992, he mainly took care of Madball, the band of Miret's younger half-brother Freddy Cricien. In 1994 they released the successful Set It Off album. Stigma was eliminated afterwards. In 1998 he played the Iron Cross classic Crucified with Miret at a madball concert and then decided to do something together again. Since then, Agnostic Front has been active again.

In 2008, Stigma released his solo album New York Blood . In the same year he also published some satirical commercials about the presidential election in the United States . In 2009 New York Blood , a film by Nick Oddo , in which Capuccio plays one of the leading roles, was released.

From 1999-2015 Capuccio ran together with Jimmy Gestapo of Murphy's Law in New York, the tattoo parlor New York Hardcore Tattoos in the Stanton Street in the Lower East Side . A label was attached to the tattoo studio, which, in addition to his solo project, also marketed Murphy's Law.
