The hop market 20 is a Grade II listed house in Aschersleben in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the southern part of Aschersleben city center, on the east side of the confluence of the Großer Halken alley and the Hopfenmarkt street.

History and architecture

The massive baroque house was built in the 18th century. The simply designed building is covered by a mansard roof. A beautifully designed front door from the 19th century is remarkable.

In 2014 the housing company Aschersleben (AGW) acquired the building and began renovating the house in September 2016, which was completed in December 2017.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed under registration number 094 80495 as a monument .
