Hopkins Ridge is a mountain ridge in the Havre Mountains in the north of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises in the form of a headland 1.9 km north of Dint Island and 9 km west of Mount Holt on Lasarev Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2015. It is named after the British biogeochemist David William Hopkins from the University of Gloucestershire , chairman of the British Antarctic Research Committee.
