Hoppenstedt share leader

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hoppenstedt Aktienführer , formerly Saling Aktienführer , is a reference work that has been published since 1935 with the data of all German companies traded on German stock exchanges. It also contains information on several hundred foreign companies listed in Germany .

history

The Hoppenstedt share guide goes back to August Saling's stock exchange papers , which were published from 1884 by the Berlin publishing house Haude und Spener and later by the publishing house for stock exchange and financial literature, Berlin / Leipzig / Hamburg. In 1935, this resulted in the Saling Aktienführer , which was published annually (probably with interruptions) by the Hoppenstedt & Co publishing house until 1995 . With the 1997 edition (published 1996) the title of the plant in Hoppenstedt Aktienführer changed . At the same time, the format increased from just under A5 to A4 , with a volume of around 950 (previously 1400) pages. Since 2001 at the latest, the share guide has also been available on CD-ROM with query software for Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Since 2013 Hoppenstedt has only been a brand of the Swedish Bisnode group, which had taken over the Hoppenstedt publishing house a few years earlier. In addition to the annual book and CD editions, which are still available, the Aktienführer is now offered as a daily cloud service as part of an annual subscription. The online version contains the same company profiles with the same layout as the traditional editions.

content

The data section of every issue of the Aktienführer contains - at least since 1991 and with the exception of a few incomplete entries - the following information on every company:

With the changeover to A4 format, further data was added:

The editions 1996 to 2002 also contain an editorial section with a summary of the past stock market year. In addition, there has been an overview of new issues since 1996 and, at the latest since 2002, a list of IPOs , the number of which rose sharply when the squeeze-out rule came into force in Germany. Further company data was added in the 2010s:
