Horațiu Mălăele

Horațiu Mălăele (born July 31, 1952 in Târgu Jiu ) is a Romanian actor and director.

Life

At the age of 22 Mălăele had his first appearance in 1974 in the film The Hidden Mountain (Romanian "Muntele ascuns" ). He then played numerous supporting roles in film and television. In 1999 he also worked as a director for two episodes of the series "Ministerul comediei" .

In 2000 Mălăele played the role of Fritsche in the Holocaust film The Deputy of Costa-Gavras based on a model by Rolf Hochhuth . He made his directorial debut as a director in 2008 with the film Silent Wedding - To the devil with Stalin! , for which he also wrote the script.
