Horbach is a hamlet belonging to the district of Waldrems von Backnang , south of the city center.
Location and development
The location is signposted as an open village and has an unrestricted access road, which is designated as Horbachstraße as far as the local border and then as Wolfachstraße. Two further entrances are only permitted for agricultural traffic. The s'Äpple hiking trail runs through the village and leads along the orchards that are also arranged around the village.
Starting from farms, some of which have already been completely demolished, the development consists primarily of residential buildings of various sizes. Only one of the farms remained and is now used as a horse pension.
Most of the residential buildings are single-storey with a few two-story houses. In the south-eastern part there is a sewage treatment plant for the village.
