Horn (noble family, 1865)

Horn is the name of a Prussian noble family that was raised to the Prussian nobility on December 28, 1865 .

history

The family line begins with medical and general receptor Ernst Wilhelm Horn (* May 21, 1732, † April 17, 1812). He was the father of the university professor and head of the medical clinic in Berlin Ernst Horn (* August 24, 1774, † September 27, 1848). His sons Wilhelm (February 17, 1803, † January 19, 1871) and Karl (October 26, 1807, † May 18, 1889) were ennobled in 1865 under the name of Horn .

In blue three hip horns placed diagonally on top of one another with the mouthpiece turned to the left . On the crowned helmet with blue-silver covers, three ostrich feathers , the middle black, the outer silver, covered across by one of the horns.
