Karl Heinrich Ludwig Horn , von Horn since 1865 (born October 24, 1833 in Halberstadt , † October 7, 1911 in Göttingen ) was a Prussian administrative officer. Most recently he was the regional president of the Marienwerder administrative district .

Life

Karl von Horn was the son of the Privy Chief Medical Officer Wilhelm Horn, who was raised to the Prussian nobility on December 28, 1865 . Horn was a court assessor in Berlin in 1860 and a government assessor in Potsdam since 1866 . In 1869 he became a bailiff in Uslar . In the same year he married Elisabeth Wald on October 9, 1869 in Potsdam (born November 9, 1848 in Berlin; † July 1, 1932 in Göttingen). Since 1873 Horn was district governor in the office of Hoya . From 1877 he served as district administrator in the Steinfurt district (1816–1974) . Horn moved to Königsberg as a councilor in 1881 . In 1884 he was appointed to the senior government council in Magdeburg . From 1888 he was a secret councilor in the Prussian Ministry of the Interior. Between 1891 and 1901 he served as district president in Marienwerder.

In 1911 he died as a district president. D. and Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John .

He was a nephew of the eponymous President Karl von Horn (1807-1889).
