Horse & Hound
Horse & Hound (Eng. "Horse and Hound") is the oldest equestrian magazine in Great Britain . It is a weekly (Thursdays) magazine that was first published in 1884. The magazine is based in the Blue Fin Building in central London .
The magazine contains industry news, horse show reports, veterinary tips and sales pages. Fox hunting, which is very popular in Great Britain, is always an important topic, as is eventing, dressage, jumping, horse racing, driving and endurance riding. The magazine also reports on the most important annual horse shows such as Badminton Horse Trials , Burghley Horse Trials , the Horse of the Year Show and the Olympia London International Horse Show .
John Lawrence wrote the Audax column in the magazine from 1959 to 1988 . A regular Horse & Hound columnist is dressage rider Richard Davison .
