Horst-Dieter Fumi

Horst-Dieter Fumi (* 1958 in Ulm ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Fiscal Court .

Live and act

Fumi studied law at the University of Bonn and, after completing his legal studies in 1989 at the University of Osnabrück with the tax work Tax provisions for continuing obligations: To passivation of obligations arising from contracts for Dr. iur. PhD. Fumi then worked for a year and a half as a councilor in the Federal Ministry of the Interior . On September 1, 1990, he moved to the financial administration of North Rhine-Westphalia . In March 1994 Fumi joined the North Rhine-Westphalian financial jurisdiction as a judge and was appointed to the Cologne tax court . In October 2007 he took over the chairmanship of the 3rd Senate, in January that of the 7th Senate. In July 2012, Fumi became Vice President of the Cologne Finance Court.

In March 2015, Fumi was elected judge at the Federal Fiscal Court. There he was assigned to the Second Senate, which was mainly concerned with questions of unit valuation, property transfer tax and inheritance and gift tax. In addition, Fumi was a lecturer at the University of Osnabrück from 1996 to 2001 and has been a visiting lecturer at the Federal Finance Academy in Brühl since 2000 . He is also active as a specialist author in tax law.
